TOPIC: This seminar will discuss issues related to designing, operating and maintaining pumps and pumping equipment at water and wastewater pump stations. Topics will include: VFD's and proper application; how VFD's benefit a water or sewer system, inverter design and head curve review. Pump Station Energy Efficiency considerations including; pump design and pump curves, HP calculations, power consumption calculations and determining practical and efficient pumping scenarios. Pump Station Preventive Maintenance including light hands-on pump disassembly and control troubleshooting

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators.
