Multimeter Training Class Hosted by the ISAWWA Technology Committee
CEU TYPE: Dual Credit Technical (DCT) IEPA#: 22321
TOPIC: In the modern control system, there are a lot of signals that are transmitted via control wires. They are run from field instruments to PLC’s, from PLC’s to relays and many other places in your facility. With all of these control wires going all over the place somethings things go wrong, and wouldn’t it be nice if you knew how to use the right tool to track them down? That is what you will learn in the class, how to use the standard multimeter tool. We will troubleshoot a small pumping system that will demonstrate how and where to use your multimeter for the purpose of trouble shooting. CHECK-IN & HOURS: Check-in begins at 7:30 am. The training will start at 8:00 am and will conclude by 10:00 pm. Earn up to 2 dual credit technical hours for water or wastewater operators or 2 PDH’s for engineers.
