TOPIC:  This class will cover the basics of sanitary sewer design, water main design, construction observation and both conventional and trenchless rehabilitation of water mains and sanitary sewers. The class will present technical requirements, logistics and real case examples for the design and construction of new water and sewer systems and rehabilitation of existing water and sewer systems. The logistics of permitting and developing constructable plan sets will be discussed, issued for construction plan sets will be presented and the applicability of different installation and rehabilitation technologies will be discussed, and post construction performance testing will be reviewed.  The class will be presented by engineers and construction personnel with practical experience.
