Who We AreThe Mentoring Committee is a group of total water professionals who facilitate ISAWWA's Mentoring Program. We work to engage the Section's membership with the Mentoring Program to develop relationships and networks, provide mentoring resources, and build upon the successes of existing and past mentoring relationships through quarterly check-in calls. What we doSeveral ways our committee facilitates the Mentoring Program are through marketing the program, performing matching twice a year (November and April), onboarding/offboarding participants, mediating relationship building through discussions, events, and resources, and conducting quarterly check-ins with participants via calls and/or emails. WHy We do itOur committee members are passionate about mentoring and understand how critical it is for every member of the water industry, regardless of age, experience, and background. That's why one of the main goals of our committee is to facilitate ISAWWA's Mentoring Program. Since the Mentoring Program launched in 2018, we have had over 25 pairs in all areas of the total water industry. What's in it for You?If you're someone who's passionate about passing on knowledge you've learned from others and/or you know that your success has been derived from the help of others, you'll find likeminded peers in the Mentoring Committee. Joining our committee means becoming a part of an essential piece of the total water industry that ensures the flow of knowledge between old and new water professionals never stops.
