Mission: To provide current technical information and expertise to small systems which will help them comply with state and federal drinking water regulations, and build capacity. To accomplish these goals, the committee shall:
Maintain a list of the section's small systems;
Maintain and promote a resource center of regulatory, financial, technical, and managerial references useful to small systems;
Support existing small system operator groups and associations
Short Term Goals:
Increase the number of committee volunteers to include small system operators that work for a small system;
Develop relationships with other groups and associations that support small systems;
Long Term Goals:
Develop and delivery of low cost and convenient educational seminars throughout the year, and at locations throughout the state;
Increase the methods of providing knowledge and information to the small systems in a accessible and low cost format such as with webcasts.
