"Yes. Section 890.1130 of the new Illinois Plumbing Codes states that backflow prevention assemblies be tested and approved by a CCCDI before initial operation and at least annually thereafter. Also, Title 35 section 653.802.e.1 states that each device shall be tested annually or more frequently if recommended by the manufacturer."
