The Sewer Collection Committee is committed to assisting sewer utilities in performing their duties by providing resources & training.

The goals for this committee include:

• Become a recognized resource for Sewer Training in Illinois.
• Raise awareness of the importance to health and daily life proper operation of sewer systems provides.
• Develop a one-day annual conference in conjunction with the WDC Annual Conference (starting in April of 2018).
• Maintain a close relationship with ISAWWA WDC membership.
• Work with other ISAWWA Committees to determine how Sewer Collection Activities and Topics may be integrated.

In 2016, the committee coordinated its first webinar, Sewer Jetting 101, which took place in April. These webinars now occur monthly (except in June, July & August so everyone can go on vacation).  Our upcoming webinars are listed on the right-hand side of our committee webpage.
